A Rustic Cabin with Charm | Knouff Lake

Published by admin under Uncategorized

060-2 This rustic Knouff Lake cabin can be a great getaway for those looking for a weekend of fishing and relaxing. Located right on the water you can launch your boat off the dock and enjoy a day on the lake. If you’re not much into fishing, then spend your day at the front of the cabin or on the porch enjoying the view and taking in the fresh air.

A weekend at the cabin is a camping experience on a nice piece of property. Inside you’ll find a propane stove and outside you can use the bbq to cook up a few steaks or perhaps the rainbow trout that was caught earlier in the day. If you enjoy camping then this cabin may be the perfect for a weekend away from the city.

What to bring | Food

Published by admin under Uncategorized

051-21When you come to the lake I would suggest packing as you normally would when you go camping. There is a store at the resort where you are able to pick up a few things… hotdogs, marshmellows, condiments and even popsicles but I wouldn’t rely fully on getting all of your food from here as the selection is limited.

If you are coming in from Vancouver and off the Coquihalla there is a large Save-On Foods and Liquor store off one of the first exits coming into Kamloops (Exit 369). Its a good place to pick up most of your food for the weekend as you will find pretty much whatever you need here.

You can also pick up chips, pop, beer and snack food at the Heffley Creek Store which you will pass by when driving up to the lake. It’s found at the start of the Todd Mountain Road after you have exited off the highway.
